Global Solution Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our team. The Global Solution Architect translates customer business challenges into technical solutions that meet their commercial and operational goals. This role drives revenue growth by aligning Leaseweb’s technical capabilities with customer objectives, ensuring solutions are both robust and commercially viable.
Beyond customer projects, the architect creates standard documentation (presentations, schematics, playbooks) and sales teams with technical expertise to win complex deals. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with strong commercial acumen to influence decision-makers and position Leaseweb as a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial-Technical Leadership
· Works closely with sales to identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities, ensuring solutions align with customer ROI and Leaseweb’s commercial objectives.
· Leads technical discussions with C-level and senior technical stakeholders, translating business pain points into differentiating technical solutions that drive customer commitment.
Solution Design & Innovation
· Designs tailored, scalable architectures based on Leaseweb standard products (IAAS/Cloud/Networking/CDN/Storage/Security) that solve specific business challenges while maximizing Leaseweb’s service adoption.
· Develops reusable templates, playbooks, and assets to accelerate sales cycles and improve win rates.
Competitive Positioning
· Analyzes competitor offerings and develops technical counterarguments to position Leaseweb as the superior choice in RFPs, bids, and customer conversations.
· Anticipates market trends and works with Product Management on solutions/products that address emerging customer needs.
Sales Enablement & Coaching
· Trains and mentors sales teams on technical selling techniques, solution positioning, and objection handling.
· Supports high-stakes deals with technical deep dives, demos, and presentations tailored to customer audiences (technical, executive, or hybrid).
Strategic Relationship Building
· Collaborates with product and marketing teams to shape Leaseweb’s technical messaging and go-to-market strategies.
P Participates in relationship building and retention activities.
Thought Leadership
· Publishes blogs, whitepapers, and case studies showcasing Leaseweb’s technical capabilities and commercial impact.
· Represents Leaseweb at industry events, webinars, and customer forums as a subject-matter expert.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong track record of managing and coordinating technical aspects of global commercial projects.
· Deep knowledge of IAAS, Cloud, Networking, CDN, Storage, and Security architectures.
Deep understanding of customer requirements and the ability to translate business goals into effective technical solutions.
Proven track record of designing solutions that drive revenue growth (e.g., case studies, references, or quota attainment).
· Familiarity with competitive landscapes (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and local IaaS/Cloud players) and ability to articulate Leaseweb’s advantages.
· Familiarity with Hybrid cloud deployments and diverse technical environments
Experience in global environments with cross-functional collaboration (sales, product, marketing).
· Sales collaboration: Experience co-selling with sales teams, influencing deal strategy, and closing complex opportunities.
· Market awareness: Understands industry trends, customer priorities, and pricing models to tailor solutions effectively.
· Storytelling: Translates technical complexity into compelling narratives for proposals, presentations, and demos.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
