The position of Financial Controller represents a fundamental pillar within the Finance Department, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting to facilitate sound business decision-making.

What is the role about?

This role centers on three key objectives: ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization, and driving improvements in financial systems and processes particularly during periods of company growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting & Analysis

· Monthly balance sheet & P&L reviews

· Prepare financial reports for entities and cost centers

· Perform ad-hoc financial analysis

Group & Global Controlling

· Work with international subsidiaries

· Consolidate financial results across the group

· Support annual budgeting process

Process & System Improvement

· Improve accounting processes

· Strengthen the global control framework

· Optimize usage of SAP (ERP system)

Compliance & Audit

· Prepare audit documentation

· Support annual accounts preparation

Treasury Support

· Assist in cash / treasury management

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or economics or other certification such as ACCA or ACA.

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or accounting firm experience.

• Strong analytical thinking

• Proactive mindset

• Focus on process improvement

• Experience with SAP (preferably with S4H)

• Proficient in excel

• Knowledge of IFRS

• Fluent in English (Dutch language skills are a plus)
