Logistics Engineer

We're looking for a Logistics Engineer to join our Data Center team. This is a logistics-focused role in Haarlem, where warehouse management, order picking, supply chain, in-outgoing goods and return material authorization come together. As a large hosting provider there is a strong affinity with servers, hardware and network equipment. Knowledge or affinity with these products is a plus.

What is the role about?

Manage inventory of received and distributed servers, server components, network equipment, power equipment and other IT related hardware in order to deliver services sold to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound shipment activities, including coordinating domestic and international transportation, preparing shipping and export documentation, and ensuring accurate, timely deliveries in line with customer requirements and agreed service levels.

• Manage inventory operations for servers, server components, network hardware, and power equipment, including cycle counting, sorting, processing, and handling returned data center equipment.

• Execute order picking for production and service orders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures.

• Provide operational support across logistics activities, including equipment labeling, registration, and processing of newly received inventory to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and data center procedures when handling IT equipment and performing logistics activities

What we’re looking for:

• An interest in or familiarity with logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for administrative and inventory management tasks.

• Strong organizational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.

• A proactive, hands-on, and collaborative team player.

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
